A fun event where local students get to explore facets and pathways to STEM at SJSU and beyond by engaging with local STEM professionals, students, and organizations with fun activities.

Who Comes to ​sciencepalooza! ?

600 community members from East San Jose, invitations are shared ​with East Side elementary, middle, and high schools. These students are ​encouraged to bring their family to the event! Community partners are ​invited to attend as well to share activities, information on their ​organization, and share their STEM journeys.

How Much
Does it Cost?

The event is free, as is parking, food, and all activities. There are even ​options for free buses to and from the event!

Where Will It Be?

“Doors” will be open from 11am-3pm in the Duncan ​Hall Courtyard and Interdisciplinary Science Building ​@ San Jose State University.

How Does My Organization Get Involved

If your organization is interested in hosting a “booth” at the event, we would ​love to host you! Below is some helpful information.

In an effort to make this event as fun and accessible as possible, we request ​that:

  • Everything must be free and available to all community members
  • Your organization host a hands-on activity for up to 600 community ​members
  • Provide volunteers (bonus points if they are from East San Jose!)
  • A focus
